The region

We would be delighted to welcome you to our beautiful region with its varied coastline and its history.
You will find vast protected natural spaces, something to recharge your batteries, wild marshes full of fauna and flora.
The Pointe de la Hague is known to be so exotic that it has been nicknamed the « Little Ireland » of the Cotentin. Villages not to be missed, we have Barfleur classified among the most beautiful villages of France, Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue elected favorite village of the French 35 minutes from our guest house.
For the gourmets, many tasty products are waiting for you (seafood and fish from Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, andouille from Vire, caramels from Isigny, as well as many producers with a direct sale from the farm…).
For the most courageous, you can ride a horse or a bike or even walk along the GR 223 called « sentier des douaniers » which offers breathtaking landscapes.
Our region is also a land of memory, with Sainte-Mère-Eglise first commune of the Cotentin liberated by American parachutists. Sainte-Mère-Eglise is the ideal starting point to discover the landing beaches (Utah Beach at 15 minutes, Omaha at 35 minutes), many museums, military cemeteries as well as many relics which invite to meditation.
Our favorites
→ GR223 hiking
→ Barfleur harbor at Gatteville lighthouse, 35 minutes away
→ The nose of Jobourg 50 minutes away
→ Cap de Carteret in Barneville 40 minutes away
→ The Vauban huts and the cliffs of Carolles 1h20 away
Activities
→ The boatmen of the Cotentin marshes 15 minutes away
→ The city of the sea 30 minutes away
→ Mont Saint Michel at 1h20
→ Ravenoville beach 10 minutes away

Region

We would be delighted to welcome you to our beautiful region with its varied coastline and its history.
You will find vast protected natural spaces, something to recharge your batteries, wild marshes full of fauna and flora.
The Pointe de la Hague is known to be so exotic that it has been nicknamed the « Little Ireland » of the Cotentin. Villages not to be missed, we have Barfleur classified among the most beautiful villages of France, Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue elected favorite village of the French 35 minutes from our guest house.
For the gourmets, many tasty products are waiting for you (seafood and fish from Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, andouille from Vire, caramels from Isigny, as well as many producers with a direct sale from the farm …).
→ Le nez de jobourg, 50 minutes
→ Cap de Carteret in Barneville 40 minutes away
→ The Vauban huts and the cliffs of Carolles 1h20 away
Activities
→ The boatmen of the Cotentin marshes 15 minutes away
→ La cité de la mer, 30 minutes away
→ Mont Saint Michel at 1h20
→ Ravenoville beach 10 minutes away

Truly a gem of a property, just excellent ☺what an amazing find! we had to cut short our original stay to only 1 night due to train times and wished we could have stayed for 2/3 nights. The house is right in the middle of the town and is excellent, the rooms are stunning and well furnished. breakfast was excellent too with ample on offer. ☹truly a gem of a find
